its simple:

Open .obj with maya (dont know if it works in 3dsmax)
then set-up your usersetup.mel with cod2 by showing it where you cod2 maya is usually

C:\Programe Files\Activision\Call of duty 2\Bin\Maya

So when you open up maya it comes up with the export tab.

So open the .obj with maya save it as .mb export it use the asset manager to transfer it to a model and volia =)

BTW you cant import animations using xmodel exporter so you have to re-do the rigging just check ebay now and them to buy maya.

if i was you move to cod4 and buy maya 8.5

You can export anims with blender and its plugins, so he wouldnt need to use xmodel exporter for that.

He doesnt have Maya, but thanks for taking part. Next time, it will do you well to read the thread. That way you find out what's being said and discussed.

Jumping the gun again... read the thread.

Use blender, Demon just gave you an amazing tutorial link that I never even knew existed... And remember lads, Blender is FREE...
