1UP has posted a preview of the next Unreal Tournament game. It's quite interesting that they are rebuilding everything from the ground up.... and that they will be abandoning everything from prior releases of the game.

The original Unreal Tournament was on the threshold of being a greatgame," Steve says. "If we had done 2K4 without having to feel kind ofin the box of what we had started in 2K3, I think it would have been amuch better game than it was. We think there's a lot we can improve. This is a completely new game, new engine. All the code is really beingrewritten. No assets from UT2K4 appear in here again. In fact, in termsof how the games have evolved, this is more of a leap, I would say, than the original Unreal Tournament to UT2K4.

Yey I heard about this. Hopefully it means that the UT editor doesnt depend on windows, and means Linux users can map for it to. :)

Being new code and all.
