Hi, I'm new at singleplayer mapping. I can't get the ai paths to compile. I've got the paths box checked and it wont work. Running vista 64bit.

this always happens with 64 bit os . either turn UAC off. (this removes compatibility folder view so it fixes most compatibility errors too :D) or make another BAT file to compile it urself

ive attached the 2 files put them in \Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\bin\CoD4CompileTools if it asks to override click. YES Right click PATHS.BAT and where it says YOURMAP change to ur map name and then just compile :) ignore the second attachment :S

So this issue has been driving me crazy! The solution posted totally works with the files, but it can be a bit of a pain to change paths.bat every time you want to compile a different map. I did some sniffing around online and implemented a fix for "cod4compiletools_compilebsp.bat" that has been working for me. It doesn't require a separate batch file and it can be run normally from the compile tools front end as if you aren't on a 64bit OS. Check it out - just replace your original "cod4compiletools_compilebsp.bat" file with the one I've attached. Let me know if this works. :)

I have an issue where this compiles my paths, but not my lighting. edited on Oct. 21, 2015 01:04 pm by yo_milo Never mind guys... Panda antivirus was deleting my cod4Rad.exe.... :/
