Here's a pic of what it looks like when a chair made of 4 brushes is rotated 35 *degrees ( Y-axis ).

Why does it go out of porprtion ?
Any way to make it look nice and keep it "in shape" ?
Or do I have to rotate every brush seperately ?

The best way to solve this is to create the object with simple patch meshes then select them all and rotate to the prefered angle

when you want to rotate a brush, use the R key.

The brush is purple now and with the mouse you can change the direction.

If you use alt+tab you can change views on grid and rotate in different ways. For example when you want to put a box on a road which goes up, etcetera.

It is best to rotate after you have textured the brush!

Hope it helps

Problem solved... so far.

Using free rotation.
NOTE: if you free-rotate a selection which has multiple brushes, DO NOT move it after the rotation, then it will fall appart, like in my pic.

1- make brush(es)
2- texture them
3- place them (z,x,y-axis)
(4- make detail or other modifications whatsoever you wanna do with it)
5- when all is done, free rotate, deselect, DON'T touch it again after this !

I've have very good luck using the specific rotate function, , turn the grid back on immediatly after rotating, but if you do disable the grid lock, things usually rotate nicely...
