Ok so something is obviously wrong as theres no .prt file, but ive checked for leaks, over and over again, the sky box is fine ive made thousands before and i even re-made it just incase, so i'm guessing there must be something else thats buggering up the map... ive tried pointfile, nothing!

No CSG has been used, AT ALL!!

help?? .

If you are running a gsc file remove it and recompile. I have seen bad scripts cause this kind of problem.

yeah, ive actually removed all of the .gscs, nothing, i tried compiling it using yet another (larger) skybox, an it compiled but still no prt. and in game i can move the spectator cam and the sky is all blurry, an there aint no map, buildiings etc.

think it might have somthing to do with a dissapearing brush error i had a few days ago? hmm

Did you make your skybox non-colliding? When I had a leak that the pointfile wouldn't find that was my problem.

Do you have a light that the circles are extending outside of the skybox? Those will do it. Is there possibly anything outside of the sky box? Even far away?

Try drawing a brush around the entire map, then use select inside to select, then copy it to a new map.

Do not use invert selection or all you do is copy the problem if there is one.

i havent got any lights in the map, i'll explain what i think it is..

Imade a door a while ago and made an origin then tried to make it func_doorrotating, it came up with an error saying "couldnt creat entity" so when ever i select the door it crashes however i can use the "select all comand" to hight the door, but i couldnt delete it so i selected everything but the door placed it into a differnt map and compiled, it works in game but still no prt and the map is un-playable (yes i have spawn points *sigh*)

Its iver the wierd door still messing things up (although its not longer in the map) or it could be this invisible brush thing that happened a while ago, ive even tried zooming right out on the 2d view and drawing a massive box, there is nothing outside the sky box

i have tried placing everything (apart from the troubled door and the the brushes in and around the missing wall brush) into a seperate map, and therefor into a sky box that i know definetly works, but still it dosent make a .prt file

this is driving me nuts

try copying the text out of your .bak file and pasting it into a document called YourmapnamBACKUP.map see if you can compile THAT map.
