ok so i just installed the origininal COD on my computer but i got this error EXE_ERR_NOT_FOUND configure.csv. i also tried this a couple months ago with a completely different disc and got this same error (or something just like it).
any suggestions?

Create an empty file named configure.csv in the directory you're missing it from or get a copy from someone else. You could probably use a torrent download to download just that one file...DO NOT DOWNLOAD A CRACKED VERSION, JUST THE ONE FILE YOU ARE MISSING. I am not condoning cracked games.

so my pak0.pak3 file won't open using winrar or 7zip and when i try to repair it it says it didn't repair anything. i also think it's empty cause the file size is 0. so i guess it's not on there. where do i downlaod the torrent from?

If you have a problem with your game, and it is legitmate, reinstall it from the CD.

with two different copies. both were scratched but they both had the same problem so i don't know if that's the problem

Hey you guys. Sorry about the idiotic idea of using a torrent. I have no idea why I was being so stupid...Alright, here's what you need to do: DO NOT UNINSTALL! Put your cd in and find the file, then copy and paste it over the bad copy. Hope this helps.

P.S. I do not condone hacks or cracks but I guess I was just being stupid by telling him it was okay to download a torrent for this purpose...
