Hey, I downloaded the tutorials,followed the setup instructions ,started a map......Did the terrain then saved it so i could come back to it later.
Tried to load the map up and it encounters a problem and has to close down. I sent the map to a clan member to see if he could get into it and he can with no problems, he sent me one of his and i get the same error message that it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.
I have trawled my way through the forums looking for the fix to this and have found many crashes similar to mine so i tried the fixes that were mentioned, to no avail....
I aint got a clue what to do about this apart from give up with it, but i don't wanna quit....
Ideas guys????????????

Error message as in windows blue screen? Are you able to load any standard maps?

First step to troubleshoot is to remove all mods and custom maps from your directory, then try again.

Ok so i just pulled out most of my maps and mods from main and tried to load the stock map "dawnville" that comes with it and it dont give me no error, it just dont show up as being there...i get nothing in 2d window, red sky in 3d window,textures window shows textures used ok,,,,and thats it..Just swept system for any spyware and it's come back clean.../////////////update:- Ok so now i pulled out all of my maps and scopes and i can get back in to it......Thanks m8ty....you're a star

LOL!!!! oh no it don't.......It will only let me access the maps after i have put dawnville in!!!!!!!! Taken maps out and mods out one by one trying ezch time to see if its that....but nothing....so i go in ..load dawnville,,,,told you b4 what i see on that map....so then i go to load mine and it's there....Why wont it load on its own and why do i have to take everything out of main everytime i wanna run radient?

Delete the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/codradiant

ohhhhhh, and I thought you meant load into COD.....you're crashing in Radiant from the sounds of it? Did Dameon's fix, fix it?

I think it has m8ty.........atfer doing that, i open up, then load autosave map, it opens that ok....so i goto load map i'm on and it lets me in.......

No Problem. Remember not to use the 4 window editor. Leave it as default or it will do that often. There are others that have found if you do this 4 times, twirl in your chair twice, hold your big toe while recitting the bible, that it will work. My advice: Get used to the 2 window display.
