This has to do with the lightmaps on the floor brush. I assume the floor is one big square brush with the walls on top of it?

Try cutting the floor along the walls, or edit the floor lightmap by scaling the grey/white blocks down. Higher density means that the lighting compile is more detailed on that surface.

Editing in lightmap mode (Shift+L) is the same as normal texture editing. shift click for surface and then bring up surface editor to scale the texture down.

Everythings structural.
Tried hiding the wall with another wall - no luck.

This stinks.. gotta be a reason and a fix for this.

Try giving your light values of:

light - 60
radius 50-80

You should never use your light outside of dark places such as dark buildings etc..

It's also like in real life: you get real day light from sun, and you only light up the dark places in your house am I right? :)

Try my option sure it will work

p.s. also this can happend if you use exploders your light/sun can go under wall thats why you might use shadow caster as seen in stryders exploder tutorial for cod1 which can also be done on any cod as I've noticed

"Note : The kind of light we are going to cover is the light that is emitted by a standard lamp or light fitting. It is not sunlight and these types of lights should not be used to light large outdoor areas." - Illuminating Your World : A Guide to Basic Lighting Methods

FIXED

Thank you Hybrid!

This has to do with the lightmaps on the floor brush. I assume the floor is one big square brush with the walls on top of it?

Editing the floor lightmap had no effect. Cutting the floor along the walls however, fixed it immediately.
Now, Instead of one big floor brush with the walls on top, I now have a bunch of smaller floor brushes that just meet the walls. No parts of the floor brushes go under the wall.

Result: No light radiating in from under the wall.

Thanks everyone for helping.

Sorry...know this comes really late...most likely have it solved by now..but to solve the light bleeding under any wall that you create is quite simple. When you create your brush, use the tool texture "Caulk Shadow" It will stop the light bleed under your wall. Keep mapping, and remember to save and save often!! :)
