Hey!

I was wondering if you could help me with this two (I hope) simple questions.

Well..

1.) Why my tree and other foliage models colors are "funky".

2.) How to remove those orange "boxes" from my models.

Thank you!

IvanFilip

edit: ow yea and why there is no higher outer and inner radius how do i even make large hills then?

1. The trees look like that in Radiant but in game they either looks OK or their colours are different (I don't know why but you can see it more clearly on hedgerow models, they appear a lot better in game than in Radiant)

2. Check the settings in Edit Preferences - Can't remember if you can remove the wireframe origin from models but definitely from prefabs in CODWAW.

3. After pressing "Y" - Manually type a higher value in the box at the end of the scroll meter.

3.

You have two boxes, let's say for inner radius "16" and "100"

Change the "100" FIRST, then change the 16 but make sure it remains lower than the second box. It definitely does work [thumbs_up]

I know that Inner radius should be always lower than outer.

Whenever I make small hills I use about 200/300 or so alike.

It works perfectly in COD1,2,4 or even 5 radiant I've tryed all those but currently I'm focusing on CODWAW mapping but in that radiant maximum for inner and outer both is 64.

When I type higher then 64 it just stops on 64, wont go any higher...

If you'd have CODWAW tools you could see...
I know I'm too dumb with those things, also with the compiler beacuse when I try to compile map it says it wont go in Local Settings/App data, and I have admin rights and set all folder options to > Show or Allow...

This CODWAW mapping is making me nuts, and I've stoped with COD2 beacuse I had idea with moving and shooting tiger which you (techno) never ended when I asked you :P..

I really asked TOO many questions this year and half of 2009 and now I should really stop.

I would thank you all for help beacuse u all really helped me much..and I figured out myself I am really BIG pain in the ass.

Yup I know I haven't got round to the Tiger tutorial yet but I did post that script in one of your topics which should help a lot.

As for the Advanced Terrain Editing tool and I swear just like my last post it really does work:

Inner: 16 - 64
Outer: 64 - 64

Change the higher value first - So since the Outer radius controls the maximum width of the inner radius then you have to change:

Inner: 16 - 64
Outer: 64 - 500

Now we can change the small values:

Inner: 16 - 200 (anything up to 500!)
Outer: 64 - 500

Trust me it works!

I used 500 as an example, but you can still go higher, just remember the maximum of the inner radius is the maxium of the outer radius.
