ok I have made plenty of minimaps cod4 and 5 but this minimap is just strange. I make my minimaps acording to the tut and has never given me any problems at all. till now when I convert assets it converts with no errors at all. but just does not make a material file or a image .iwi I have never run across this. anyone got a idea of what might be causing this.

If it "converts with no errors at all", then it's more than likely that it created the .iwi, because that is what conversion means. Try to search the file with 'Windows search', maybe the file it's misplaced. Also, double-check your AssMan settings.

got it I didnt do anything diffrent just did it again and this time it worked crazy stuff thanks for your replies.
