Post noon in the UK, the site is vvvvvveeeerrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy slow to load (talking in excess of 1 min). Any one else getting it?

Its fine first thing in the morning, and defo not my ISP as all other US sites load no problem. Also, if I ping modsonline.com I get an average response time of 75 ms, which is a normal hop speed from the UK to the US. So, my guess is its either a server problem, or a site problem.

Yes, very slow at times, sometimes not, but I just tried again later...

I tried other browsers than my usual Firefox and its faster with them (particularly Chrome). So, I cleared all my cookies in Firefox, but its still very slow with it. So, it looks like its a Firefox issue. Im on 3.6 and when I think about it, the site has been slow since the new 3.6 version came out (3 weeks ago).

I'll do some more testing.

I agree there is an issue. I temporary resolved. Gotta find a permanent solution later.

I received a message last night from the server that indicated the logs were not properly compiling. I manually shut that off to help with the strain.

log files are suppose to compress down each day and I guess it got stuck. This was eating up memory.
