i have an problem with every map i create, it's always the same with it and i don't know what the problem is here is the Compiling log

well....
the problem is more than likely stemming from the way that you are compiling

you are mapping for uo and not compiling for uo

this is apparant as you have no uo resources in your compile log

take a look at the compiling tutorials in the uo tutorial section[angryalien]

but it worked before but when i placed new things (a lot of them) then it began having this problem so i realy don't know what's going on please help it's my second map the first one failed and i don't want this one to go to waste too (if you need i can send you the .map file so that you can look at it for me)

The fact that it worked before doesn't mean you were doing it right at those times.

Make sure you use the compile method as described here or here (NTSF drive).

i went searching for it . so i started to delete one by one thing from my map and i found out what the problem is, it's a custom texture that i inserted in the game that's why it started to give this error:
shader type 'world/vuilnisbelt' not found

so changet the texture and now it works again

but tanx anyway for the help

ok...but dont try and do anything like put vehicles in...or use uo textures...or a number of other things that you will eventually find arent working because you are not compiling properly

when the uo mdk was released it was released with a new q3map and flare....this means that you need to use the NEW q3map and flare to compile for UO

why not i'm using graydan't to make the map so why not use uo textures, but it's all oke now everything works again

You will not be able to use UO textures, because when you compile your map, the compiler won't be able to find any UO textures. If you check your compile log, you'll see it only uses the pk3 files in the /main folder, and none from the /uo folder, which is where the UO textures are located.

But he is using the correct q3map and flare. But not using the flare correctly.
