I've been searching the forums for hours and I can't find anything.

I've seen this done in MP maps before so I know it is possible. How do you get dark sections of a map for Nightvision?

I think you'll need to elaborate.

I'm making a night map with a full moon so parts of the map are in moonlight; however, I want inside buildings to be dark so you need nightvision to see unless I place a light in the room.

I've tried shadow casters, but that made it even worse. And placing a black light doesnt do anything.

In your worldspawn, lower the ambient setting, which controls the strength of light in any place not lit by the sun.

I did this once with the worldspawn settings of strike.

I've been messing around with the ambient settings (I'm cautious to mess with sunlight because I got it set up perfectly) and I havent gotten quite the results I wanted. It works okay, but not as well as I'd like.

I used Strike's worldspawn and it worked okay, but still not as good as I would like.

Any other suggestions?

Is there any way to increase the amount by which nightvision multiplies light in my map?

Still messing around with worldspawn values with no success.. Anyone else have any suggestions? I can get nightvision to increase vision enough to barely see, but not enough to play.
