I think this problem is so easy to fix as long as you understand it, well the problem is I don't. I was just in the CoD UO Radiant and I must have hit the wrong key, because all the brushes just disappeared. I can't make new ones, I've tried to restart the program etc still doesn't work. I can make xmodels and everything, just no brushes. I hope anybody understand my problem, and can help me with it.

Quick question, how do you get two terrains to attach seamlessly?

EDIT: nevermind about the first problem, but I still need to get the terrains perfectly lined up. (I'm used to working with 3Ds Max and it's so much easier there) =)

line the vertices of one terrain mesh up with those of another, and then go through the two meshes selecting two corresponding vertices at a time and pressing Ctrl-K to snap them together. If you do extreme height editing, you'll have to 're-snap' some of the vertices

Molnies, I have the same problem, can't make new brushes, all my brushes disappeared. When I open my . map file with notepad, all my brushes are still there!

What did you do to fix it? I found something about filtering "world" out, but it's not filtered out in my Radiant.

Nevermind, I totally fixed it.

I'll tell you how.

Screwing it up.
Instead of right-clicking, going to misc, model, I draw out a brush, pressed n to bring up the entity window, and selected misc_model
key: model
Value: xmodel/tallleafytreenormal

Since then it started to go wrong, for example: every time I pressed spacebar, that tree showed up (ennoying!)

And, when I restarted Radiant, all my brushes were "gone".

Totally fixing it.
I fixed it by going to my .gmm file, opening it with Notepad, and replacing everything between the entity tags with
Code:
<KV>"classname" "worldspawn"KV>

So:
Code:

<KV>"classname" "worldspawn"KV>

Before I did that it was something like this:
Code:
<ENTITY v="1">
<KV>"classname" "misc_model"KV>
<KV>"model" "xmodel/tallleafytreenormal"KV>
<KV>"origin" "0 0 0"KV>
ENTITY>

I had to do this manually, because I somehow couldn't delete then in the COD:UO Radiant.

I hope this helped for those who are also having this problem.
