Unfortunately I have next bad information, I download some source files of local map packs and had .grid_auto and .d3dbsp files, I copy zone_source and gsc to my CoD folder - everything, I try open - and ERROR - my computer crashed and that's all - something is very, very wrong.
I don't understand this - that file was fine, I'm talking about .d3dbsp and .grid_auto files, with good colors, I'm sure, and when i try open it - it crashed my computer - Then I must compile all map again with my CompileTools and that was OK, but without normal colors.
Something is wrong or with editor, or with Compile Tools, or with game - I don't know. Can anyone help me??
I have CoD:4 1.0 version. |

Hey
I back to my problems, cause I find some solutions. In point of fact that was only one problem: colors.
About the zone files - it was my mistake,
Actors - it's normal
Vehicles - it's normal too and It's simple way to repair it.
But "Colors problem" is still topical, I didn't know how I can repair it, but I think....and I have idea.
So, when we have our map with colors we can add everything trees, buildings, actors....but when we're compliling mission we DON'T need this option: "2. Compile colors", so if sb will compile my map on his computer and send me compile files (with good colors)
I can add everything and if I don't press "Compile colors" probably I will have good colors everytime.
Also I have idea how I can do it for all my maps. I can create VERY BIG map (just ground and sky nothing else) and send to sb and then when I will have complie files I can paste my map/maps to them and add everything cars, actors, etc. All I have to do is don't cross the light grid volume area and it should be fine.
Just I copy my object/maps to map with colors (of course I change name of that map and compile files first) and then It should be working (It's just one problem, so it will be like very good solution and end of my all compile problems).
So, I'm looking sb who can help me with compiling.
