I have a problem with my mod.When people try to connects it gives an error with other mods like they are not compatible or something like that.Instead of deleting other mods there is other way to fix this?

You should always run your mods in an fs_game folder - not the main folder. That way, your mod wont conflict with any other, as its only your mod that runs.

With COD4 and COD5, you can only run each mod like this, and its perfect.

Actually Demon, even with the FS_GAME, it can still sometimes cause compatibility errors with other mods.

What you have to do Pwn3r, is load your mod with Developer 1 and Developer_Script 1 on.

Open console, and look for any assets your calling, but dont have in your mod.

For instance it could say "Cannot find "lolgun_mp" "

Now, imagine if another mod in had "lolgun_mp" in it, the game would try and load that iwd, ino it sounds stupid, but the game does it!

I had trouble with this for months until I did some trial and error.

Conclusion: Make your all your called assets exist in your mod, or remove the precache.

Just to bring this one up again matty as im having problems with this too.

I only have the one mod in my cod2 folder and main (infact there are no mods in my main), what do you mean by remove the precache? as im not precaching them.......
