Two things:

1. light trials on the wall are "cubic" How can i smooth them to look more natural?

2.Bullet splatters[ohwell] Is there any way to make them "normal"?

I've posted a topic on this forum earlier but i didn't got any helpful info so far.

When you compile, do you have the Extra setting on in the Light Options tab? My lights looked blocky until I used this setting. Remember, during gameplay some of these details go unnoticed when you're running around looking for people to shoot. Don't get caught up in too many little things. [machine_gun]

I'm sure when people read your second question, they don't know what you meany by "normal" bullet splatters. Explain.

Take a look at screenshot i've placed[tongue] "Normal" means round bullet hole not a square with stripes like those on tv screen[tongue]
If this is because UVW mapping then what im i doing wrong?
I've spent last week on watching tutorials and trying to correctly texture model i've made and results are as on the screenshot[cry]

And the light trails...

I think my "striped" bullet holes problem is in exporting models. I've exported one model to .obj and .x format, and then converted to xmodel using XCONV.

Coversion from .x produced less distorted splatters than from .obj .

I've used 3ds max design 2009 and it's default .obj export plugin, and Panda DirectX Max for .x exporting.

Maybe you Guys know better plugins and xmodel converters?

i'd be apreciated for any suggestions and downloadable links [tongue]

Or maybe other than 3ds max, (except MAYA... i hate it ;) ) txturing application that is not generating any "artifact" bullet holes like those on screenshot.[ohwell]
