Last month I cleaned my hard drive due to multiple virus and I finally find my CoD and CodUO CD's and install them along with the latest patch (1.51 I believe). When I start the game the menu screen doesn't have any text at all.

then try rolling them back OR uninstall the old drivers and new drivers, then (BEFORE RESTARTING!) reinstall the most up to date drivers. I am guessing they at least used to work or else your card is just too old to run the game.

Definatly a graphcis problem. I had it. What graphics card do you have? Just rollback your drivers to version before the latest.

Don't know if this is your problem, but I suspect you may have to install more than one patch. With mine, for a fresh install I:- Install Call of duty Install Cod United Offensive Install 1.4 patch Install 1.5 patch Install coduo_patch (1.51) Install coduo mapppack (Peaks etc) For a menu to be blank, I'd be thinking in terms of a dodgy install, maybe disks are damaged.
