If you look at the Skeleton you should see a tag_center or tag_eye (cant remember) - it seems you smooth binded it to the right arm/hand and thats the problem. You should try unbind it before re-exporting.

It all has to do with skin weighting. I never used the skin weight painter.. i always did it more 'manually' by selecting vertices and punching in weights by hand. Probably a longer process that way.. but it comes out clean.

When you start to mess around with characters, before you even export it... to check your weights, just pick one section of the body like the arm and move it around. If part of the torso or legs wants to move.. then you've got a problem.. but that will help rather than recompiling the model constantly. I test everything. Arms, legs, hands, fingers, feet, etc.

I never made a character for COD4 but using weight brushes work very nicely. However fine tuning is often best done by hand. Using the paint brush would have to be turned down so much to keep it smooth that manually changing things would be better.

Good to hear that a model was actually exported however. Myself... I'm currently having entity rotation problems thats been a PITA to solve. To work the rotation functions had to written from scratch and having to wait for the level to load every time to test it got old fast. [crazy]
