Some of the posts on that forum topic are extremely uneducated. Everyone is throwing abuse at IW and 402:

The nuke strike was in SP I believe, AC130 was in IW MP code but wasn't actually working in the game.

As for that last comment, all material? Jeez!

I've been playing CODMW2 spec ops with sparky recently and it's good fun with extremely good level design, this is the reason I'm not on the IW forums, bunch of hyped up little shits trying to make themselves sound smart by ironically talking out their collective poo-poo head.

Sorry but there's too many personal comments directed at people over there, as if 402 runs IW, thought I'd insult them all at once, that'll show em! hehe

We plan to do something is like saying we have no plans to attack country X.

One description for such things is the 'no-comment' comment.

"Word has it that there ''will be'' but no detail or time announced.."

No date or time means it might not happen during our life time, now that's splitting hairs.

I dont believe Im splitting hairs - and that was not my intention. Im going on past experience that when they say they "plan" on doing something, they usually do it:

In 2006, IW told us: "We plan on releasing mod tools, we just dont have an ETA". It came true.

In 2007, IW told us: "We plan on releasing mod tools, but they need testing first, so we dont know when it will be". It came true.

So, on past experience, when they say they "plan" on doing it, they do it.

Also, Bowling is a past master of not saying anything unless its more-or-less a fact because he has learnt the hard way that, if he says something, people take what he says as Gospel because everyone hangs on his every word (like we are doing now). He has even said many many times that he doesnt say anything unless he is sure about it first because of the hard time people give him when he used to say something in the past and it didnt happen.

I think my comment may have triggered something here so im going to respectfully withdraw that i ever mentioned the term ''will be'', honestly didn't see it leading to problems.

Tools will probably come out in 5 - 6 months. After they finish and release DLC1 I would assume they focus on the tools.
