I'm proud to announce that we finally after 2 months of absence again have a CoD 2 v1.2 Server up running! yep probably but we try to get those to snipe who just buy the game and do not know that v1.2 (which the fresh installed games are) isnt up-to-date. most just install the game and want to play it - few are looking for updates before playing.

I understand sure would like to visit your server. {UST} united-snipe-team has been around since cod1 was released and we like to see new sniper servers up and running. we wish you guys luck and maybe if I can bump down to 1.2 I'll come in and do some old school sniping with ya'll.

they findout soon anough that they have to download the patch the first thing you do is google it richt?

I never minded if there was a new version - i just wanted to play. And Im sure there are many others out there not minding an update to CoD2, maybe even unknowing updates to CoD2 exist. Even when I buy or install an older game I do not google first. I just wanna play it and if there is an server which I like I wont update it even if there are big bugs.

almost every cod2 server is patched from the start and cod4 you cant even play without an update and if you like playing with bugs thats ok it takes you 2 min to download 1.3 patch for cod2 and then you can play without bugs

Yup almost every server but ours ... so we are one of the few server that are not patched but run properly though. Every new CoD2 cd sold in Germany has v1.2 and I guess it's not different in most other countries. And as it runs only custom maps, it has very few bugs so don't mind visiting us

no indeed every new cod2 cd is 1.2 and yes will visit your server assoon i figurout how to down patch cod2 easy i did know it but its awile ago happy shooting :) see ya soon we had a sniper server and will be up and running to soon after 1 year abcense but will be 1.3 hope to see you soon edited on Feb. 3, 2010 02:03 pm by {A2K}vettevictor
