************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
so idk |

Whoa, that's a different animal altogether. Looks like a application error or the compatibility issue with Vista.
You mention this error comes up when you click ANY of the compile buttons? So you can't even get past the first button it sounds like.
I would make backup copies of any of your .map files including any prefabs you made, custom textures, any tricky scripts, etc. Don't forget to backup your player profile if that matters to you. Trash your COD4 install. Install it fresh, apply all the patches and the ModTools with the 1.1 patch. I know this is a pain (since I did it recently), but sometimes this clears out some funky bugs or you may have accidentally altered a critical file or something.
Patches: http://www.fileshack.com/browse.x/4404
Not sure why the 1.3 patch isn't listed. |

Quote: O and also able i am to keep my acc on Cod4?
By "acc" are you referring to your rank you've earned online? If so, then this info is in your Call of Duty 4 Data-->players-->profiles
Copy the folder with the names of the profiles you wish to keep. After re-install, simply put them back in the same location. |
