How to make Radiant work correctly under Vista/Windows7: 1. Uninstall Call Of Duty - leave "Activision" folder and all subfolders under 'program files" for now. DO NOT delete manually yet. 2. Re-install cod4 to c:\Activision. 3. Install Radiant and updates. 4. Run Compile Tools as "Admin" (always). 5. Run "Effects Editor" - it will give you an error, saying that the current location does not contain a valid Call of Duty Installation. It will then give you the opportunity to change the location. Just point it to the new installation. Done! If you mess up pointing it to the new installation location, you will have to start completely over, and that includes re-installing cod4 and Radiant to the program files folder, and then repeating all of the above.
