You'll have to create the usersetup.mel. This file 'makes' the CoD4 Export toolbar menu in Maya.

This is what mine contains
Code:
source CODToolsMenu;
CODStartup;
CODToolsMenu;

What Maya version do you have ?
Did you extract the 2 .mll files from the zip archive in [root]/bin/maya/tools ?
Are the paths in maya.env correct ?

Silly question but are you loading the plugins in Maya? Are they set to auto-load?

I only have v7 and this may be a different problem but to get the animation window to work a couple of lines had to be commented out in CODExportAnimationWindow.mel

//source PerforceMaya;
//source CODExportCommon;

Also, the default paths in the mel files was 'trees' in the top level C drive. It would have to be changed to the correct activision folder or just create the 'trees' folder structure yourself. 8 might have fixed that.

In 7 its windows->preferences->pluginmanager.

The env settings might already be taking care of that but it doesnt hurt to check.
