Was 49.99 (regular PC game price) at a major retailer I bought it at. I had X-mas gift card so it was even less for me coming out of my pocket.

Played it a lot yesterday, little SP but mainly MP jumping server to server and I have to say it was pretty much the same experience I had on the Xbox 360 (before the dawn of exploits started happening recently)... so I don't get what's with all the bitching by protesters since it was a good experience. >_<

*I guess maybe I have a good internet connection so I didn't experience any lag server hopping after every match to test the waters.

*The lack of customization in menu is weak sauce but I can edit the CFG, and anything I can't change I don't really find that bad enough about the game that I need to complain online about or berate the game on such a small matter.

*Haven't come across any hackers or exploiters yet like I typically do on the Xbox 360, I guess maybe they got bored of the game or maybe it just wasn't as bad as people make it out to be at the IW forums.

So far happy with the product, will be excited when mod tools come. [thumbs_up]]

I believe a lot of complaints are from Europe Gamers, for instance i mostly get connected with Spanish players [duh] rarely UK .... go figure. Its laggy for about 80% of the game i ever play and 1 time on 3 the game gets interrupted by Host Migration. Add to this that the maps are always the same for Domination (about 3 maps) and same for Ground War ... Its not a good experience in my books.

About the IWnet thingy, it appears Bioshock 2 has no dedi server support either, also because they couldn't reach the deadline. These rushed products are definitely starting to affect the quality of certain games.

It's a really great game. People protesting should at least try it before they bash it.. I was against it at first but after a while i figured what the hell. The only downside is IWNet and the "automatic server selection", occasional host migration, and crybaby players. The 1 minute intermission in the lobby was annoying at first... but after i started unlocking things, i used that time to edit my loadout or look at my challenges.

It would do the game alot better if they added a second option for dedicated servers. Have "Advanced Server Selection" for dedicated servers (since they think its so hard to click a server and join)... and "Easy Server Selection" which all the kiddies can click and play instantly (after waiting the intermission time). If that happened, then everybody would be happy.

Enough reasons to don't buy the game.
