have downloaded mod tools and patctch when i start mapping works fine for a while then crashes to desktopi am using windows vista and have it set to run in compat mode for xp any help will be realy appreaciated thnxs 4 ur time

Does it happen as soon as it loads or after a few mins? If it happens after a few mins then try disabling 'auto save' in the preferences option of the edit tab on the toolbar.

I have Vista home premium, not running in compatibility mode. Check that you are running the tools as 'admin'. These are my 'preference' settings, open radiant press 'P'. gl

Hi, under Vista it is a good Thing to turn off UserAccountControl - this helps me out.

i fixed by running as administrator and compatibility for xp then exit turn administrator off then try again
