Hey all I havnt been mapping in quite some time lol so Ill bet I did something noobish but I did the compile and the .bsp and all the rest of the files show up and the .bsp is in the c:/programfiles/Call of Duty/uo/maps/mp folder but when I go to run the map it says it cant find the .bsp.......funny im staring right at it. I even tried to rename the map so that it has a mp_mapname structure but that didnt seem to help either. Why would it not be finding my .bsp when it is clearly in the right spot as far as I know and the .bsp was created after running the compiling process. these are the scripts im using in my .bat's

"C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uoTools\bin\q3map" -game uo "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo\maps\mp\mp_d6racing"
pause
"C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uoTools\bin\q3map" -vis -fast -game uo "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo\maps\mp\mp_d6racing"
pause




"C:\Program Files\Game\uoTools\bin\flare" -fast -game uo "C:\Program Files\Game\uo\maps\mp\mp_d6racing"


pause


and yes I did rename the folder Call of Duty to Game before running the flare portion.

try placing it in cod\main\maps\mp

or if its single player cod\main\maps

Cod checks the UO folders last (from what ive been told) so that could be why, move it to your cod directory mp folder and see if that works

Try making a pk3 file by putting your bsp, gsc, and put your arena file in your main mp folder (If u don't have a mp folder u can make one). I don't know but mine didn't work like that either btw [banghead] so when I made a bsp I just put it in a pk3.[crazy][rocking][pimp]

I just noticed that my poly file is coming out at 0kb's would that do it?

LMAO... told you guys it was a noobish thing....I forgot to change my server settings to NOT PURE, oh well got a few posts in anyway he he. Thank you to all that replied btw I appreciate the effort, and a big howdy to Wyatt havnt talked to you since you helped me put in the first ever made searchlight for mp cod.
