I've imported a lot of models with no problems but sometimes I get an Assert Failure when compiling, as it turns out the problem was that I forgot to make it a phong in Maya.. Recently though when I re-scale a model (with same model phong on it) it gives me the same error when compiling and the only way to solve it is to start with your raw file again unless I'm missing something..

I dont beleive phong should be used in Maya, Lambert yes.

I'm always get the error when using Lambert, with Phong only after re-scaling.
