lol , will do
i'm still not convinced where talking about the same video though ![[tongue]](images/BBCode/smilies/tongue.gif) in that vid , i cant remember saying anything about that , i know i did early on in the basic outdoor vid but in the advacned i show how to create a sealed enviroment for a cell using 80% portal brushes !
im not trying to argue about your point , i just want to make sure they are as good as they can be ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) so your feddback is much appreciated mate ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) |

no rush mate ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) like i say , your feedback is very much appreciated ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) so thanks
one thing i will say , in the vid im talking about , i display how to filter out using the no-draw to view the portal planes as the engine would see them by using the capital D no draw surfs toggle button , like you mentioned
so that's what made me think it maybe a different video we are talking about

These portal tutorials have been most helpful especially the outdoor portalling.
Portalling buildings is straight forward, had no problems their but I just could not figure out how to perform outside portalling efficiently and get it to actually work.
I have a map that I have been working on for what feels like forever. It is such a large outdoor map it needs to be portalled.
Your videos made it so much more easier to understand actually seeing portalling being applied. I have read all the portalling tutorials I could find and none explained outdoor portalling in a way that I could fully understand. I was 98% there and you have now provided what I have been missing.
So I am going to see if I can finally finish the map I've been working on. Thanks again. ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) |
