Ok i am having a problem when i compile my bsp, its MAX_MAP_NODES, i looked it up and one of the things they said to do was portal, this is the first time i have working with portals. I got everything set perfectly follow multiple guides and none work, i get the same error, so now i have 2 errors i need to fix 1: MAX_MAP_NODES, 2: Error: portal has the same cell on both sides, portal ignored. Can anyone help? P.S i did lookup the portal error, and none of the things they said to do worked.

the both side cells is cuz u made both sides of 1 portal the same texture its supposed to be like no draw or somet then an other texuter

Ok i fixed both of the problems, however i have had a problem with my compiler and it's getting on my nerves now, after i compile the reflections the first time, i can't recompile them without saving the map with a different name, and recompiling the entire map. i get a script runtime error, in the Shift+~ it gives me over 100 sound file missing errors, anyone have any ideas?

reinstall the game and tools :\ back up ur profiles

I just reinstalled the game and tools, recompiled the entire map, got the rainbow tint, went to recompile the reflections, and i got the same error.

MAX_MAP_NODES is due to too many structural brushes. Make some samll brushes detail (CTRL+SHIFT+D in radiant). Small brushes would be trims or small brushes.

I fixed that problem, it was actually a custom prefab i got online, used up alot of brushes deleted them and it works fine.
