Hello I am new at map making but i have been registered on this site for over a year, I'm working on a Map,
A friend got the Cargo Ship for me, and he said i can do the rest of the map and put texture on the ship,

I just would like to know how to make it a map file so i can test it out on my laptop? [confused]

and i can't think of a Name for this map [banghead]

I'm not sure what you're asking for. If this ship is a prefab then you'll have to place it in your C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\UOTools\map_source folder and then open your editor, click on EDIT, LOAD PREFAB and then the cargo ship to place it in your map.

If you are referring to a bsp file you will have to first compile your map. See tutorials for compiling for help there.

I don't know how much mapping you've done but it's best to start with the basics of mapping to get an idea of how everything works. There are great tutorials for this and great videos as well.[wink]
