first off, I am a noob so please be tolerant of me.
i need help with a map that i am making. its a giant room that is separated in half by a giant wall with a gap at the top. this is suposed to be a grenade map only so i need to have a way for the grenades for the player to always be at the max number (2 i think) or have unlimited grenades. could somebody help me out please.

second of all, how do i change the time until the grenade explodes to about 15 seconds so that the players can play hot potato with the grenades.

Eighter add
setdvar("player_sustainammo","1");
to the map gsc file (which will make the players have unlimited ammo anyway), or click the "respawn" button on the grenade weapon you placed, this does not usually work.

the best way to make the grenade would be to modify an allready existing weapon file. for instance take the regular frag grenade. and modify the explode time.

the weapon files can be found in "iw_11/weapons/mp" (just open iw_11 with winrar)
and the frag grenade file is called "frag_grenade_mp"
(unpack it and open it with notepad(++). )

change the "\fuseTime\3.5\" to "\fuseTime\15\" if you want 15 seconds
just remember to save it under a different name like
"frag_grenade_15_mp"

@Luxxus - if you change the name of a weapon, the game wont recognise it and the server will crash. You would have to add the new weapon to your compile, and that would add to the 1000 model limit and crash mods which have extra models in it.

Also, 5 seconds is the max fuse time for a grenade.

so... i can't make the grenade take forever to have the fuse go off?
and, i can't have the custom grenade in anyways? so um... am i screwed (simply put)
