Hey,

I just made a medium sized map for cod2 mp
Now i have installed my cod2 compile tool like this:
Compile bsp
compile -vis
compile lighting
connect paths
extra
verbose
modelshadow

But the compile tool is now busy like 27houres! is this normal?

Maybe i did something wrong or something?

Don't compile vis and paths... And get lighting settings to fast
don't do verbose and modelshadows.

Is that the settings for Multiplayer map finished or for tested?

With this settings ur map will compile for test... Fast lighting do like 20% of Extra light option.
when it will be finsihed u can test it.

Can you give me the right compile options for a finished map so not for testing a map? Just for sure :)

If u want it to be good u need to use:
Compile BSP
Compile lighting
Extra
That's all

I did what you say but it still takes ages to compile

In the black window appears text with: building light transport
and says:
0.1% complete, 32 seconds done, 17:24:09 remaining

So it still doesnt work :S
i only have 50 light's
Does somebody know how to solve this ?

Dont mark any of the "BSP Options" , except "Compile BSP" and "Comp. Lighting"

in Light Options I use "fast" and "extra"

To not use so much light in game, I set te WorldSpawn with "Ambient / 1"(I belive that the value)
