OK, so i obviously got a leak in my map, its not the skybox, because its completely closed and nothing is leeking, I click on point file to show me the leak and gives a line in one of hte buildings and im like WTF. By the way the building isnt leaking outside the skybox, so can someone please explain how close the leak found by the pointfile? Maybe I should make the skybox structural?

try making abig hollow box over the entire map to ensure no skybox leaks, other wise its probably portals

its hard to figure out portal leaks sometimes

try deleting them to make sure it is that thats leaking....

the pointfile points a red line between the hole (leak) and a model, spawn or light that is nearby

OK, and what do I do when the pointfile points at nothing, just a blank space

Like he said earlier, if you have portals in your map, it could just be a portal. Also, paste your compile log if you can. Check all portals and all sky box joints to make sure they are not leaking without your knowledge.

If you still keep getting the error, try this:
1. Hit to select everything in the map.
2. Hit [Space] to copy everything.
3. Open a new map
4. Hit [Ctrl + V] to paste it.
5. Save and compile this map.

Sometimes, I have found, that this fixes some errors, but isn't always a fix.
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

I think your both right, because i found a portal that was very bugged, and some werent put correctly, Ill try fixing them, I hope i get rid of those annoying red splashes ( not sure about the word ), as my map is too big for a normal or extra compile.
