When I go to add one of the stock CoD models, all I get is a red box with no model that I can see.

When I load my map I get this:
Quote:
Loading model c:/program files/call of duty game of the year edition/main/prefabs/models/chair_office... failed.
Loading model c:/program files/call of duty game of the year edition/main/prefabs/models/bed_bunk... failed.

And I tried to load my map with the models and CoD crashed.

What's going on?

2 things...rename your install folder and get rid of the "game of the year edition"...it causes problems

next...the red box is what you want

once you get the red box press "N" to bring down the entity editor and modify the model path from (for example) "c:/program files/call of duty/xmodel/whatevermodel" to "xmodel/whatevermodel"

this IS in the tutorials, if you would have looked BTW [angryalien]

Oops sorry!

I did search the forums and wasn't exactly sure if my problem applied to the answers.
