don't get me wrong, the fps is fine...its much more than the stock maps at the same settings.
its average 160fps all over the map.....but before it was more like 190!
i think my middle portal is where the problem lies, when i look into the middle of the map from the corners is when it dips most...
i don't mind sacrificing a few fps now if it stabilises fps when its full of players, if thats how it works
if players are shooting etc in those portals, they won't be drawn...so overall fps should be better? is that right?

does it look like too many?
are they somewhat right?

thanks guys, looks like i'm on the right lines then...
gonna narrow the two outer right ones, and portal the middle house and barns since they contain models, i m thinkin these are the most important parts.
@rasta...one of the errors i had whilst doing these was "cell can see two other cells", or something along those lines...i didn't realise there was a limit tbh...

after reducing the size of a few portals in regard to them "seeing" other portals, and portalling all the open buildings, fps is much more like it...
averages 190+ in most areas, and 150ish looking from the outside corners into the middle, considering the middles the most detailed part i'm happy with that.
still alot to do yet..
finish terrain height and blend.
add lots of fx.
gametypes/spawns.
dogs.
various little bugs.
more models/detail.
loadscreen/minimap.

thanks mate
the barns have only one way in and out....that screams hard to defuse to me..
i m not plannin on moving them far....just into the open to allow for better defence/attacking.
don't wanna upset any purists tho!
