Ok so I got source sdk and loaded up hammer editor. I'm trying to make a basic room for cs source. everything was good until I got into the map. it loaded but when trying to join a team it said both teams were full.

Make sure you are using the info_player_terrorist and info_player_counterterrorist entities. Generally, at least 16 per side is sufficient, but to allow 64-player servers to run the map, you'll need at least 32 per side.

Make sure the spawn point entities in the editor are not touching any walls or each other. If they are too close they will be ignored.

While you don't need an info_player_start entity, it's a good idea to include one.

hmmmm Iw ill check over this and see the error I get in the console cuz I do believe I did that. The tutorial I used didn't say to press enter when placing the spawn and it said to place the player start entity 8 cubic above the floor so maybe i'm getting it stuck in the floor.

try placing the spawn points much higher in the air. you can lower them later.

also get the SP spawn point in there.

You should see these spawn points in the map after placing them.
