When i trying to start my SP map it come ''Script error bad lyx (or something)'' the Script have an error but how do i fix this error? i want to try my map so i now whats wrong so i can fix it for i gonna make a long map so i also of course want to test the full map when its done but i cant because the ''script error'' i wanna try it before its done to please Help me !!

run in dev mode (developer 1, developer_script 1, devmap yourmap) it will show detailed information about the error (bad syntax without anything else is only a generic error message without any details when running in normal mode. Shift + ~ to drop console, scroll down to see the entire error log)

^{i have bad syntax it stand and the info in the bigger console dont give me some info for what i should do? how do i fix it?}

ok first of make sure when you run the map that you have the box that says "Enable developer", "cheats", and "Enable Developer Script" checked. and then when ur map loads and you get the error. close the game. Go to the "main" folder of your cod4 directory and inside you will find a file by the name of "console.log" or simply "console". open it with notepad and search down until you start to see something similar like the following: Code: ***** script runtime error ***** undefined is not a field object: (file 'maps/_vehicle.gsc', line 2126) crashLoc.claimed = undefined; * Error: started from: (file 'maps/_vehicle.gsc', line 2125) self waittill( "goal" ); * Error: ************************************ dvar set com_errorTitle Error dvar set com_errorMessage script runtime error (see console for details) or something with the word "error* and something to your error. copy that part and paste here so we can take a look, then we can tell you wat exactly your error is. another way to view your full error while your still in the game and you get that error message is to press shift + console key "~", the tilde key found under esc key. You can then scroll up and down till you find your error. and finally plz use smaller fonts i can see them just as well when you use it normally, no need for bigger fonts.

try removing out of your "main" folder the following iwd
