I noticed some posts about the Quake 4 built-in editor not working in Vista. I have mine working just fine. I created a shortcut for it with this in the command: C:\path to your quake4 install\Quake4.exe +set r_fullscreen 0 +editor +com_allowconsole 1 +set r_mode 4 +set r_brightness 1 +set r_multisamples 0 +set r_clear 1 Then under the Compatibility tab I checked Disable desktop composition in the Settings section. And I checked Run this program as an adminstrator in the Privilege Level section. Runs great! I forgot to mention that I have the 64bit Vista running on AMD Phenom X4 with 8 gigs ram ATI Radeon HD 4600 with 1 gig ram Quake 4 patched to 1.4.2 edited on Oct. 29, 2009 11:38 pm by HuntingBull edited on Oct. 30, 2009 01:46 pm by HuntingBull
