I have small problem with my new project map FAVELA atm i made small street with some Grave Tomb Stones , i don't know why but when i'm not so far they disappear :(. (like a 5 meters from them).
I really need them appear to look from far. (max for me 12-15 meters to see them).

Please for fast reply

Cubic clip the camera view is probably enabled, search for the icon @ the toolbar. In CoDRadiant its standing next to the XYZ and Flip X, Flip Y icons.

And ofcourse i had to change modelscale bigger from 1 ( too small)

well i think that just naturally happens. thats also wat happens to the fire hydrant in game ( on my pc at least ). When i get a certain distance it just seems to dissappear and then reappear when i get close enough. its weird and i dont know why it does that. I think it could be because of older pc? idk.

The LOD of the model could be rather short, perhaps it's use ingame meant it didn't need to be seen from afar, so it had a short LOD for optimisation.

This means when your outside of the range of the LOD of the model, the model disappears.

Thing is the level of detail filtering wouldn't normally completly remove the model, instead just make it very bland at range. For it to be completly hidden something else must be wrong.

Does your map have portals?

@Rasta: i agree that it shouldn't disappear totally, but if there is no lower LOD model specified it will. it really depends on the model set.

@Coverop: you may recreate the model asset and increase the LOD distance. it might be possible to just alter it with an hex editor, but you need to find the right spot in the file.

I checked those earlier for the OP and the ch_tombstone 1 has 2 LOD (500 and 1000) and ch_tombstone2 has only 1 (500) :/
