Yes it is true Modern Warfare 2 is now available on steam 34.99 for us UK people. Same price as a 360 game :'( With an all tasty giant sized picture on the steam games homepage :P

Xbox360 price = £44.96 = Microsoft Licensing Steam price = 34.99 = Your paying for the steam service Xbox360 (hardened Edition) = £59.96 = You get the original game as well (first time on a console for it) PC = £34.96 = Your ... still paying for the steam service (how else could steam get the same price?) PC also = no hardened edition, in fact instead of bonus features and content we get content removed. We have to upgrade our hardware, spend money and time to build PCs to play these games and they remove features which improve our gaming experience. Let me just check my receipt for WAW a second... oh yeah that's right £24.99 with a burn system, gore system, new client side coding, ambient system, MP vehicles, CO-OP campaign, Adversarial mode complete with dedicated server functionality, bonus zombie mode, map packs galore and support including map sources, tutorials and patches for the mod tools. They are building up on the success of MW and think they can get away with it? not happening....
