It's a beauty... I always said it was since its first release. I was surprised that it could cost as much as $1mil to license. This is not verified at all, but it was mentioned somewhere. I really would have expected it to cost less than the id tech or unreal engines do to popularity. Of course modding is free as long as you're not planning to sell your mod as a game.
