Hi,
i was searching thr the whole forum, but didn't find an answer:

i'm doing a SP map, so i have some AI in it [rolleyes].

following a tutorial i need this:

an actor, a path_node and a turret_misc.

now i select the turret (with model = xmodel/mg34_stand etc.),
link this to the path_node and than the actor to the path_node.
(actor->path_node->turret)

following the tutorial, the actor should use the mg34 now.
but he doesn't! he uses the weapons he's carrying.
what am i doing wrong?

in short: i want to have a german using a mg34! not more, not less!

/sorry for bad english, it's not my mother tongue/

Did you make .bat file with +set g_connectpaths in it?

Yes, here is the batch file to test the map:

coduosp.exe map %1 +set g_connectpaths 1 +set monkeytoy 0 +set com_introplayed 1 +set cheats 1 +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1


and this short version:

coduosp.exe map %1 +set g_connectpaths 1

all w/o success

I also tried this tut:
AI firing an mg42

with an mg34 instead, because mg42 didn't work either..

Found the error: there was a leak. It works fine now!
