I beleive it to be fake and IW/ATVI are probably enjoying the publicity. They can deny it anyway at any time they wish, when they feel the rumor has run its course for instance.

As for ATVI being at the source of this, i doubt only Electronictheatre.co.uk gets the calendar.... [crazy]

As most people, until Official confirmation, I take this is as BS [smokin]

Same as Zeroy, although I imagine Activision to be a bit more creative, they are allowing time for customers who have both PC and Xbox to get fed up and spend the extra money on the Xbox version of the game.

PC games are usually £24, MW2 is £34 and the xbox game is usually £39.99 this one is £59.96 (prices from amazon) which is not only outrageous but is clearly aimed at console gamers and means I won't be buying it for either platform.

I don't under stand the rise in £10 for PC and the £20 rise for MW2, either someones calculator was broke or making those skinny green Xbox360 cases is more difficult than I thought.

My usual outlet is pricing it at £34.99, so (atm) I'll be getting it from here for £26.99.

I agree, they will probably do it just like COD 4 and release after Xmas as soon as possible. That way it gets the tools in the hands of the general public, and the mapping and modding can begin therefore giving the game an even extra boost, and whats good for the game, is also good for sales, which in turn is good for Activision. $$$$$

Dont mind tools being released late. I like to enjoy the game before attempting to map anything.

Maybe MW2 1st official Windows 7 DirectX11 game? Eyecandy galore? Bad rumour that one...

No game which is released on the 360 will be DX10 or 11 as the 360 wouldnt be able to run it. Remember, the 360 is only a suped up DX9, with some DX10 features (tessalation for example). It can only dream of DX11 features.
