Hi, I'm working on another map, and after one compiling the worldlight turned red...I'm sure I didnt edit my worldspawn settings...
I saw a thread solving this few months ago, but can't find it anymore...so my turn to ask.

you MAY need to add reflection probes,
you WILL need to add light & sky grid brushes covering the playable area. light where you can stand and sky where you can not. only objects in this area get blit properly with all the power of cod waw lighting shadows from models ect and other players.
Also note these grid brushes can not be too big in there volume size, they contain the dots that when occupied by models and brushes report light does not pass here and a shadow is generated.
as i say these can not be too big BUT you may have more than 1
to be sure they work well i have made sure mine are equal in height width and length to any other ligyt grids that it touches.
eg they also can elevate from left to righ if the ground is inclined

you will need to spread the reflection probes around at head hieght.
when i made my map particular areas of my map lit with red like under sofets ect,i place more reflection probes to solve this i think?.

dont forget to add the the skyboxmodel info to the yourmap.csv in zone source mine is rhi3 looks exactly like this save the red font
xmodel,skybox_rhi3,
if you forget to add the and skybox_model info , it looks like a projection on a box and you will see the corners,aswell as loosing the nice cloud movement .
be sure the skybox model info is the same as the one in your world spawn settings.
back up your map often to a safe place.

so, I added some reflection_probes,
I put map structures to the light grid brushes and put an sky grid brush to the top of a skybox (inside of course), cause I had no idea how to use that...
I renamed my skyboxmodelname from skybox_pel1 to Skybox_rhi3

then I started to dig in the csv. file, I simply added the line you wrote to me, but when I saved it, it wrote some error about incompatibility - I ignored it and saved.

When I launched the map, It froze to hell.

So I decided to put the csv file into previous form: when I opened the file, I noticed that it changed:
instead of showing every item in its own cell, it wrote it into one cell, separated with ";" -

- it causes the game to not understand the csv file, but there is no way to fix it - when I write everything in its own cell, save and reopen, it turns messed up again. I decided to delete the corrupted mapname.csv files, and luckily, while compiling, it says that no csv file was found and asks to create one - Anyway, this automaticaly created csv file doesn't work either.

If I only could to restore the working file, bfore editing, I could check at least, if adding reflection probes helped...but in this case...

I hate COD5 more and more, from all my heart...
one part of the game allows me to produce good shadows, good reflection, but the rest of engines prevents me from seeing the result...****! [sniper]
