i have added some models to my map some extra trees and foliage . when i tried to recompile my m,pa it all compiles as b4 but hangs on awaiting connection and does not count on from awaiting challenges
..1...
does anyone know how to resolve this plz. its a really elaborate map for me and i dont want it to stop here,[duh]

First you must check the obvious which would be an error in the LogFile. To enable the logging, start your map with the launcher on the "Run Game" tab, select MP, a Mod and check the options to have Logfile set to 1. You can also set the r_fullscreen to 0 so that you can see if an error comes up.

What is the size of the compiled .ff ?

to be sure when ever i have tried to run the game from the run game tab it only ever starts the gamne on the main menu it has never loaded the map i choose in the run game options of the launcher, i have always run the game from the compile page after compilation completes with no bother untill now. but his is not now possable as the game stops just as the map aught to load
the .ff size of my mp_map is 29,977KB
the launcher reports this and alot of other missing sounds but it worked b4 but did not have this

ok even more confused now afeter much messingaround and trying to get my map to work i ended up going back to our online server where a slightly older version was loaded but when i download the map from there and eventually connect its displaying the map in the from of the more recent one i compiled thismorning but was not able to play, this is very starnge inthe past the server would roll my map back and when i was done adding stuff i would delete the server one then upload the revised some how my game is applying the new map to where the old version on server should be being read [cry]

i fixed it it turned out that i had a model that was a bazooker and it had a class name of a flame thrower so there lies the challeng that was hung on in testing. i have no idea why the usermaps used the map i had compiled instead of the one the server downloaded
very strange but it is fixed and all my map is as it should be .
that was close i though i was going to have to start again ,again!
