i dont totaly understand it all but i beleive this guy thinks that these are the cod6 night vision goggles well in simularity but its just some chinese company mass producing night vision goggles, i think he just thought they looked simular to the ones in cod6 and then took pics basically lol, so i may be right may be wrong like i said dont understd the matter so well as what i think :P

Could be a PR stunt by IW.

A GameCrazy manager got fired for taking footage of MW2 stuff he wasn't supposed to at the Las Vegas event, so I don't see why the person(s) at the manufacturing company who took the photos and are posing in them shouldn't get fired either.

This leak also brought out some racial comments at the IW forum, people are saying they don't want their NVGs in the Prestige Ed now because 'some Asian dude touched them'.

What did people expect? Of course those are made in China, by chinese staff, just like the PS3 or XBOX360 .....

No news there, just come closed-ups and i suppose the "reinsurance" that the Googles are made by a Not-so-bad Toy manufacturer: Jakks Pacific

When you plaster pictures of night vision googles all over the net and magazines, you can hardly claim that a couple of snaps taken in Tiwan (or where ever) are "leaking" them. I agree with techno2sl - its another publicity stunt by Activision. IW wouldnt put it all over their website if it were truely "leaked".

Personally, I also doubt the manufacturers were under any Non Disclosure Agreement, and hence I doubt the 12 year old (because that's what we are talking about here - an 12 year old Sweat Shop worker) will get fired for it.

The most disturbing thing about this whole thread is that it even exists. How can anyone, teen or adult, get so excited or worked up over a piece of plastic? God. If they were real or something then perhaps that might be more newsworthy but come on people get a grip on yourselves.

I could care less if the worker got fired, lots of sweatshops over there.

Is this a ploy by IW to generate more discussion or god help us excitement about the upcoming release? If so then it is pretty damn pathetic.

Im more concerned that quite possibly this game is going to be a typical Activision f'up. Smoke and mirrors will only obscure the truth for a short time. In the meantime those of you who are eagerly anticipating getting your prestige edition and your NVG's should be happy going to bed tonight knowing that the release date is now one sleep closer. Cuddle up and hug that plastic canteen you got earlier. Give it a kiss.
