i just noticed that the bad word filter replaced the "šhit" of the variable name "s HitLoc" by:
Code:
<span class="censor">poo-poospan>

it shows exactly like this, 'cause it is inside a bb-codebox. see here

really annoying. the filter shouldn't parse tagged code anyway, like the nowiki tag in mediawiki. consider this as a request for the page :)

btw. the < > problems appear to be gone since the facelift as you can see above.

given the fact that this is a family site, the censor will remain
it was put in place due to verbal ignorance by certain members, and its need still remains.
i would perhaps find a better way to tag your variables

edit - testing shows that the filter would only pick that up were you to not type it as requested...again - a different variable nomer would display correctly

We can't use a different variable name for šHitLoc because it's used all over the stock CoD scripts

Would it not be possible to make an exception only for the word šHitLoc?

In reviewing the post and your request... šHitLoc and what was written are not the same. In this of this forum thread, your letter s has an accent over it. In the case of the previous post, there is no accent.

In the meantime, I am still looking for a way to rewrite the censor system. There is no way to just skip this word. It will have to be rewritten.

i used a different letter which looks similar to S to circumvent the bad word filter, but only for better understanding. otherwise it would had been replaced each time by poo-poo...

it's not our variable name, it's InfinityWard's name.
