i dled the pakscape file, so i can start modeling. only problem is, pakscape is exactly like notepad, except you cant type.... how do i work it, anybody here can point me to a good tut?

You want to model with pakscape? I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. Pakscape is generally used for creating the file hierarchies in pk3 files. If you dled a pakscape file that contains your modelling stuff (is that right?), the open the pk3 file with pakscape and it should appear right there. Could you explain yourself a little more? I'm a bit confused.

no i want to learn how to make models, or at least to know wat program i would use.... i dont want anything to do with milkshakes right now......

I think you are confused, You use a program called Milkshape to build models! Look in the CoD Mapping tuts and you will find something for Milkshape which is used to build models!

Milkshape3D is a modelling program that can be used to create models for Quake games. If you want a more professional program try getting 3DsMax, Maya, or Lightwave.
