If you use the function "export to maya" in radiant it
messes up the curves.
Is there a way to fix this, or am i doing something wrong?
Also does a map to obj convertor exist?

No, but it would be possible to convert the D3DBSP to OBJ i guess. the geometry is already triangulated in the BSP, so it's easier to use this rather than .MAP
but why would you need such a converter?

late reply :-)
but still looking for this.
I'm trying to convert my brushes (huge building)
to something that can be imported into unity 3d.
Has anybody succeeded in anyway to do this?
Gtkradiant should be able to export to obj,
but i can't seem to figure out how to get my cod5 map into it.

You can not put COD5 maps in gkradiant, its totally different editors.

You would have to convert the building into a model via maya export.
